More information on this can be found on the Microsoft website. Please also make sure that your network is listed in Windows as a private network or that you do not have any restrictions for AirServer in place when using the Public network setting.You can try connecting your computer to the network with an ethernet cable to see if the performance is better. Another possible cause of your connection issue may be that your connection cannot handle the bandwidth required for streaming or mirroring.You can find firewall configuration help for some of the most popular firewall software in our knowledge base. Also, ensure the same is done on any secondary firewalls your computer may have (like Windows Defender). You may have to adjust your firewall settings to allow AirServer.exe to receive incoming networking traffic. Connection issues are most often caused by firewall software.Please also make sure that Bonjour/mDNS and multicast are enabled in your router's settings. Visit the router manufacturer’s website and download / install the latest firmware. Your router might be running old firmware.Make sure you are using the latest version of AirServer Universal.If you are using Windows 10, we highly recommend using at least build 1809 for the best results.
